There really is a way to get xtra crispy chicken wings without frying them. I suggest buying first and second joint split wings. This means wing tip off and other two joints split for you.
There are a million ways to cook wings. This way will give you pre finished product you can grill or broil after your choice.
Crispy baked chicken wings
Servings: 4
Ingredients
- 2 Lbs Split chicken wings
- Corn starch
Instructions
- Pre heat oven to 250 Degrees
- Dry wings completely then toss with corn starch to coat completely but shake off all excess
- Place on cooking rack on baking sheet making sure there is seperation between all wings
- Bake at 250 Degrees for 20 Minutes
- Turn oven up to 425 Degrees and bake 45 minutes longer
- For Buffalo style immediately toss in buffalo sauce and serve
- Asian Sticky wings toss in sauce and broil on low 5 minutes
Blue Cheese Dressing and Dip
Making from scratch blows away all store bought versions
Servings: 4
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Mayo
- 3/4 Cup Sour cream
- 1/2 Tsp Dry mustard
- 1/2 Tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 Tsp Garlic powder
- 2 Tbls Half and Half
- 1 Tsp Lemon Juice
- 1 Tbls White wine vinegar
- 3 Ounces Blue cheese crumbles
Instructions
- Add the lemon juice to the half and half and stir to incorporate
- Stir in all other ingredients
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors marry

This is great as salad dressing or as dipping sauce for veggies or wings
Buffalo wing sauce
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Hot sauce I prefer franks original
- 1/2 Cup Butter
- 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tbls Apple cider vinegar
- Cayenne pepper to your desired heat level
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to sauce pot
- Slowly bring to low boil
- Remove once reaches low boil
- Toss wings in sauce to coat
Sticky Asian Ginger Wing sauce
Sweet and Spicy nice and sticky
Ingredients
- 6 Tbls Soy sauce or liquid amino's
- 1 Tbls Gocuchang
- 2 Tbls Sambal olek chili garlic sauce
- 4 Tbls Brown sugar
- 4 Each Lime leaves bruised
- 3 Each Garlic clove minced
- 3 Each 1/2 inch cubes ginger root minced
- 1 Tbls Toasted sesame oil
- 3 Tbls Rice wine vinegar

This is great sauce it needs to be broiled or grilled to get it nice and sticky. Be careful though it has a lot of sugar so will burn easily if not watchedÂ
Apricot dipping sauce
Great for dipping wings crackers or veggies
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Apricot preserves
- 2 Tbls Dijon mustard

- Combine ingredients and serve
