Classic Wedge Salad goes well with almost any meal and can be stand alone lunch or light dinner.
Wedge Salad
Servings: 4
Ingredients
- 1 Each Iceberg lettuce head
- 8 Ounces Homemade blue cheese dressing
- 4 Ounces Crumbled bacon cooked
- 2 Each Roma tomatoes each cut into 1/8's
- 4 Ounces Blue cheese crumbles
- 1/4 Cup Red onion small diced
Instructions
- Remove core from lettuce, remove outer leaves wash and cut into quarters leaving each quarter intact
- Put quarter of lettuce on each plate
- Top each quarter with 2 Ounces each dressing, 1 ounce cheese crumble, 1/4 of the red onions, 1 ounce bacon crumble and plate around it the Roma tomatoes.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate so serving very cold
Blue Cheese Dressing and Dip
Making from scratch blows away all store bought versions

Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Mayo
- 3/4 Cup Sour cream
- 1/2 Tsp Dry mustard
- 1/2 Tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 Tsp Garlic powder
- 2 Tbls Half and Half
- 1 Tsp Lemon Juice
- 1 Tbls White wine vinegar
- 3 Ounces Blue cheese crumbles
Instructions
- Add the lemon juice to the half and half and stir to incorporate
- Stir in all other ingredients
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors marry

This is great as salad dressing or as dipping sauce for veggies or wings
